Andie Naar

Andie Naar is a German-American independent filmmaker and writer. Her coming-of-age short film “See you at Sunrise” marks her debut as a narrative writer/director/producer. She received the California State Fair Scholarship Award for her artistic work to raise awareness for underrepresented groups.

Her music film documentary short “I am gone” about survivors of domestic abuse won several film festival awards, became a finalist in numerous more, and was screened at venues in Los Angeles, New York, Boulder, and Berlin. She is a Sag-Aftra member, performed in indie short films and features and provided voice acting for female creatures in mainstream blockbusters. She recorded her debut EP “Moment’s Pass” at Capitol Studios, which can be found on Spotify and iTunes, and has an extensive original poetry and song portfolio.

Andie studied musical theater performance and acting in Germany and New York, is a degree candidate at Harvard Extension School, focusing on psychology and creative writing, and splits her time between Los Angeles and Germany.
